I created this blog in late 2007 to "write about music and how it affects my life, etc." Now it's early 2009, and I'm going to start anew. I hope to share some simple observations about the world that I live in, which is oftentimes best expressed through music, but not always exclusively so.

I listen to this song almost every morning on my way to work. Not unlike myself, it’s a bit morbid under its sunny exterior. This song was later used for a musical revue that ran for a short time in LA. She planned for it to run on Broadway, but critics weren’t having it. I would kill to have seen this.
